The First Snowfall and The Beauty of The Month of November

The first snow has arrived.

Last week, as I got up in the morning and looked through my window everything was covered in snow. All was still. Snow was gently falling.

I celebrated the arrival of snow with a long walk first thing in the morning. I love taking in the beauty of tenderly falling snow. So gentle. So pure.

I love walking on newly fallen snow. I find it romantic. I like the sound the snow makes while you walk. It’s has a certain sqeaky sound. I like the beauty of everything being covered in gentle white. Gently falling snow turns everything quiet.

There is a certain scent to snow. Beautiful. Pure. It stirs something deep within. It feels like a faint, faraway memory.

To me, the month of November is magical.

Its a time for warming bowls of soups. Having fireplaces burning.

For hosting harvest dinner get togethers. Talking long walks in misty, fairy tale like nature.

The short hours of daylight provides excellent opportunities to perform activities indoors. Doing something you are passionate about. Maybe playing an instrument. Or crafting.

I like to prepare for the upcoming advent time. A fun thing to do is creating a homemade advent calendar.

What about the month of November do you like? How do you like to celebrate the month?

  1. Thanks for an informative blog. Where else could I get that type of information written in such an ideal way? I’ve a project that I’m just now working on, and I’ve been on the look out for such info.
