January Light and the Home of a Burlesque Dancer

As I woke up this morning the world outside my window was covered in haze. It had been snowing during the night. Now it was gently thawing and the landscape was dressed in a misty robe. All was still. Sacred.

Magical.

Now the sun is shining from a clear blue sky and as I go for a walk I hear the song of the great tit bird . I adore the sound of this delightful bird. It evokes feelings of early spring days. I enjoy the light this time of year. January light is so gentle. Serene.

I am on a constant lookout for homes to be inspired by. I enjoyed watching a film clip where American interior design magazine Architectural Digest is visiting the 1927 Los Angeles home of burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese.
