What kind of music do you like? What about that particular music makes it special to you? What about it makes you feel drawn to it?
I like putting on my ear phones, lying down in a quiet place, closing my eyes and listening to the singing of opera singer Jakub Józef Orliński.
To me, he has the voice of an angel.
Orlińskis voice connects me to a high vibrational state.
I talk about Orliński here.
Here is a lovely documentary on Orliński. Not only beautifully filmed, but it also contains so much wisdom.
I also enjoy watching a performance he did that went viral.
A lot of music for male voices with this exceptional high vocal range was written during the baroque era. The term, from the Portuguese barroco, or “oddly shaped pearl,” the term “baroque” is used to describe the period in Western European art music from about 1600 to 1750. The year 1750 is considered the end of the Baroque due to the death of Johann Sebastian Bach. His music is considered to be the culmination of the Baroque style. Orliński has explained that many of the baroque songs he sings used to be pop songs of their time.
Here is another documentary on Jakub Józef Orliński I enjoyed watching.
Orliński has explained that he has been described as a hope bringer. I agree. His singing always puts me in a good mood. I feel comforted and soothed by his voice. Connected to my heart. My inner truth. His singing connects me with higher realms.
I have created a playlist with some of his singing here.
