The Beatles have always been special to me. I particularly feel for John Lennon.
I’m fond of the song Love. So beautiful in all its simplicity. Ever so often I put my headphones on, turn the volume up, close my eyes and just listen.

Today I watched a documentary on American singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson, a close friend of John Lennon and the other Beatles. Nilsson was John Lennon’s and the rest of The Beatles’ favorite American artist. And yes with the name Nilsson, you’ve guessed it, he does have Swedish family origins. I always delight in his voice in the song Without You.
Everybody’s Talkin’ is another gem, lead song in the movie Midnight Cowboy.
I highly enjoyed watching the documentary on Nilsson. Who Is Harry Nilsson (And Why Is Everybody Talkin’ About Him? I warmly recommend it. You’re in for a treat.
